Reginald Smith is a Kansas City born African American Artist, Musician, and Film Maker residing in NYC.
Reggie directs, and edits music films, most recently for Huerco S.’s Plonk XI (feat SIR EU), campaigns for various fashion houses such as Bond Hardware and Telfar, and short jornalistic docs generally about music and art culture. He also has been commissoned to create motion graphics by UNO Records and Nowadays, a large scale club and beer garden founded by Mister Saturday Night Records.
Reggie is known by the NYC music community by his dj alias, Rage.inald. He co ran, designed, booked, and created content for the vinyl record label Hyph Stems with Naang Tani and pH. They have thrown parties with acts such as Yaeji, Juliana Huxtable, Nídia (Portugal), and many more. They have brodcasted on The Lot Radio, 8ball Community Radio, and Boiler Room. Rage.inald now currently co runs Real Blue Love Rips with Pamela_and her sons, an event series that is transforming into a Cassette Label, and is a resident for Headznite, a Drum and Bass Fundraver for Ukraine.
